PARALLEL IMPACT 

Resiliency is a product of both people and place. It forms across environmental and social networks, building up over the course of daily life, yet tested by extreme events - personal traumas, recessions, and natural disasters. Linking social factors with urban context, this project proposes interventions on three key sites via dual purpose infrastructures in the Rockaways: urban corridors, vacant parcels, and NYCHA housing below the flood plain.
